Built in our workshop.
Hands-on preparation, careful setup, honest mechanical work and learning from every race.
01 / A RACING TEAM IN THE MAKING
The plan is simple. A group of friends, our own race cars, and weekends spent doing what we love. Starting with MX-5 sprint racing and C1 endurance, building the team one lap at a time.

02 / THE IDEA BEHIND THE TEAM
We don't want to watch from the pit wall. We want to be the ones taking the start.
Touring Works Racing is the competition arm of a wider enthusiast-led automotive business. The first goal isn't to sell race seats, chase trophies or pretend to be a professional outfit. It's to get a group of friends racing together, learn every part of running a team and build something we're proud of.
As the business grows into race-car preparation and customer support, our own racing continues. The works team isn't an introductory chapter. It's why we started.
Hands-on preparation, careful setup, honest mechanical work and learning from every race.
Founder-drivers on the grid, with friends taking on the garage, pit wall and race-weekend roles.
The progress, the problems, the improvements — documenting the journey, not just the highlights.
03 / OUR STARTING GRID
Close, affordable club racing is where we intend to start. Two very different disciplines, one shared foundation: develop the drivers, understand the cars and learn to run a proper race weekend.

The Mk1 MX-5 is a brilliant place to learn sprint racing properly: qualifying pressure, standing starts, traffic, close grids and extracting speed through consistency. We plan to buy a series-compliant race-prepared car and do as much of the work ourselves as practical.

C1 endurance is the team-building half of our plan. Shared drives teach pit-stop discipline, stint planning, reliability and the rhythm of racing together. Initially we'll explore joining established entries before investing in our own C1.
04 / THE GARAGE
We'd rather start with something we can prepare properly, afford to maintain and genuinely learn from. The initial garage is deliberately simple, with a route into larger racing programmes later.
A lightweight, straightforward platform for learning chassis setup, repeatable preparation and the art of sprint racing.

05 / THE PADDOCK LOG
There are no race results to report yet — and we're not going to invent any. As the team takes shape, this is where car builds, testing notes, race-weekend reports and official results will live.

06 / INSIDE A RACE WEEKEND
For the team to work, everyone needs to understand what happens before, during and after the session. Explore the four stages we'll build our paddock procedures around.
THE WORKS / PIT-WALL PLAYBOOK
A simple first version of the team's operating rhythm. From mechanical checks to driver debriefs, the discipline in the paddock makes the racing possible.
Start each race meeting with a known car, a clear plan and a team who understand their responsibilities.
07 / THE ROAD AHEAD
We want the team to grow in step with the wider business — adding capability and disciplines only when we've earned the experience and can support the running costs.
Do the groundwork rather than buying everything at once.
Start small, concentrate on consistency, and share the story.
Explore multi-car racing and the commercial services that complement it.
The roadmap is aspirational. Dates, series, cars and team capacity may change as the business develops.
08 / BEYOND OUR OWN GRID
The works team will be a place to develop our knowledge and credibility. Over time, that could lead naturally into customer race-car builds, preparation and support — without turning the founders into spectators.
Series-specific conversions, compliant safety installations, mechanical preparation and clearly documented customer builds.
FUTURE SERVICE / NOT YET AVAILABLEInspection, refreshes, suspension and brake work, setup development and off-season reliability programmes.
FUTURE SERVICE / NOT YET AVAILABLETransport logistics, mechanic support, pit equipment and race-weekend operational services as the team scales.
FUTURE SERVICE / NOT YET AVAILABLECommercial motorsport services will be launched only when the facilities, qualified personnel, insurance and operational processes are in place.
09 / STAY IN TOUCH
We're still putting the team together. Whether you're interested in the journey, a future build or a collaboration, this preview lets you compose a note while the team contact channel is being established.
The form on this preview prepares text you can copy or download. It does not send information, register interest or create a booking.
Draft generated locally. Copy or save it and send it when the team's contact details are confirmed.
