Keep it right.
General maintenance work for MX-5 owners, including brake inspections, servicing and repairs that help a well-used car remain dependable and enjoyable.
MX-5 SPECIALISTS
MX-5 ownership is a key part of the experience behind Touring Works. From launch, we plan to offer considered maintenance, purposeful modifications and bespoke CAD-designed parts for Mazda MX-5 owners.
WHY MX-5
The MX-5 is not an abstract market segment for Touring Works. It is a car the founders have owned, maintained, modified and taken to track.
That experience gives the MX-5 programme a practical starting point: knowing the strengths of the platform, the jobs that matter to owners and the difference between a change that looks good and one that improves how the car works.
Our aim is to provide thoughtful work for owners who want their car cared for, improved or developed around the way they actually use it—whether that is road mileage, weekends, track days or a mix of all three.
Max and Ethan have both owned and worked on MX-5s. Their ongoing hands-on experience will inform the maintenance, modification and design work Touring Works develops from launch.
THE MX-5 SERVICE
A focused service for the platform we know well, built around a clear brief and sensible work rather than a generic parts-and-labour menu.
General maintenance work for MX-5 owners, including brake inspections, servicing and repairs that help a well-used car remain dependable and enjoyable.
Considered upgrades developed around the car and its use—including suitable brake upgrades—alongside changes that support more confident, enjoyable track use.
Bespoke CAD-designed parts and selected 3D-printed solutions where a purpose-built component is a better answer than an off-the-shelf compromise.
HOW WE WILL WORK
Every MX-5 has a different history, condition and intended use. Good work starts by understanding all three.
Talk through its condition, recent work, intended use and the owner’s priorities before deciding what should happen next.
Maintenance and modification work should have a clear purpose, an agreed direction and an honest view of what is appropriate for the car.
Where no off-the-shelf answer makes sense, CAD can help turn a well-defined need into a considered prototype or selected specialist part.
A CLEAR STARTING LINE
Good fundamentals first. The work will focus on what helps the car remain sound, dependable and enjoyable before optional changes are considered.
Matched to use. A modification should make sense for the owner, the car and its intended road or track use—not simply add another component.
Appropriate to the part. We will not represent early printed parts as replacements for safety-critical or structurally loaded components without the necessary engineering, validation and material assurance.
